Welcome to Vivre Ballroom. By enrolling in classes, booking private lessons, purchasing a package, or attending any event at our studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. studio policies & class enrollment

All students must register prior to attending group classes, private lessons, or studio events.

Class packages and private lesson packages are valid for [Insert Number] days/months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Makeup classes may be scheduled for missed sessions with a minimum of [Insert Number] hours' notice, subject to availability.

Students arriving more than [Insert Number] minutes late to a class or private lesson may be asked to observe rather than participate, at the instructor's discretion, for safety reasons.

No-shows without notice are not eligible for makeup credit.
2. payment terms

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Payment is due at the time of booking or enrollment unless a payment plan has been arranged in advance.

3. cancellation policy

Vivre Ballroom reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class or event due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. Affected students will be notified as soon as possible and offered a makeup session or credit.
4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Dance and partnered movement involve inherent physical risk, including but not limited to muscle strain, joint injury, and falls. By participating in any class, private lesson, or event at Vivre Ballroom, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are voluntarily participating in physical activity and understand the risks involved.

You are physically fit to participate, or have consulted a physician regarding any condition that may affect your ability to safely take part.

You release Vivre Ballroom, its owners, instructors, and staff from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in studio activities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

This waiver does not release Vivre Ballroom from liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

5. code of conduct

Students are expected to treat instructors, staff, and fellow dancers with respect and courtesy at all times.

Appropriate dance attire and proper dance shoes are required in the studio for safety reasons.

Vivre Ballroom maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct of any kind.

The studio reserves the right to remove any individual from a class, event, or the premises for behavior that violates this code of conduct, without refund.
6. photo & video release

Vivre Ballroom may take photos or videos during classes, private lessons, and events for use in marketing materials, social media, and the studio website.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify the studio in writing prior to your first class or event, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
7. health & safety

Students are asked to disclose any relevant injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations to their instructor prior to participating in a class or private lesson.

Students experiencing symptoms of illness are asked not to attend in-person classes and to contact the studio to arrange a makeup session where applicable.
8. privacy & data
Personal information collected through registration, booking, or our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the studio (e.g., payment processing).
9. governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Los Angeles County, California.
10. changes to these terms
Vivre Ballroom reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation in studio classes, lessons, or events following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The most current version will always be posted on this page.
